The Future of Holistic Wellness Speaker for Women: My Keynote at FEMTalks 2026

Earlier this month, I had the incredible privilege of standing on stage at FEMTalks as a holistic wellness speaker for women to address the pressure of perfectionism. Looking out at a room of high-achieving leaders, I shared how the R.A.Y. Method acts as a management system for our bodies, moving us away from burnout and toward a sustainable relationship with our health.

Health is Not a Destination

In my talk, "The Future of Wellness," I shared my own journey—from climbing the corporate ladder as a COO in the high-stress iGaming industry in Malta to crashing into burnout, and finally discovering the tools that saved me in Thailand.

We often treat our bodies like machines that just need to be pushed harder. We try to fix internal burnout with external to-do lists. But true health isn't a destination you arrive at if you just work hard enough. Health is a relationship.

The R.A.Y. Method: Insights from a Holistic Wellness Speaker for Women

I introduced the audience to the R.A.Y. Method—my signature blend of Reiki, Ayurveda, and Yin Yoga. Think of it as a complete management system for your body:

  • Yin Yoga is the Steering Wheel: It allows us to physically stop and surrender. We target the deep fascia where trauma and stress get stuck.

  • Reiki is the GPS: It clears the energetic "traffic jams" in our system so our battery can actually recharge.

  • Ayurveda is the Fuel: It teaches us that we are part of nature. You cannot run a Ferrari engine on empty fuel, and you cannot eat cold salads in winter without consequences.

The "Good Girl" Syndrome & The Throat Chakra

One of the most powerful moments of the morning was discussing Dr. Gabor Maté’s concept of the "Autoimmune Personality." So many of us are the peacemakers. We swallow our "No" to keep the peace. But the body keeps the score.

When we suppress our truth, it often gets stuck in the Throat Chakra, manifesting as jaw tension, thyroid issues, or neck pain.

Together, we stood up and released that tension. We practiced Standing Yin Yoga to open our hearts , and we used the "Bee Breath" (Bhramari)  to vibrate the Vagus Nerve and signal safety to our brains. The sound of the whole room humming together was pure magic.

Discovering Your "Engine Type"

We also had some fun identifying our unique biological blueprints through Ayurveda. Are you a:

  • Vata (Air) Creative, quick, but prone to anxiety

  • Pitta (Fire) Driven, sharp, but prone to burnout and anger

  • Kapha (Earth) Stable, loyal, but prone to stagnation

Let's Keep the Glow Going

I left the stage with a full heart, reminded once again why I do this work. To the women who attended: Thank you for your vulnerability. To those who couldn't make it: It is never too late to start listening to your body.

Let’s stop guessing and start navigating.

Warmly,

Sara
